All media inquiries regarding city operations, events, programs, and general city business should be directed to Marketing & Communications Specialist Megan Freeman. Megan coordinates all official city communications and serves as City Clerk.

Police media inquiries

Media inquiries related to law enforcement, crime, and public safety should be directed to Police Public Information Officer Shannon Schaper.

The City of Ballwin maintains official accounts on Facebook, Instagram, X/Twitter, YouTube, and Nextdoor. Three departments maintain their own social presence: City of Ballwin (CityofBallwinMo), Ballwin Police Department (BallwinPD), and Ballwin Parks & Recreation (BallwinParksandRecreation).

Newsletter and alert channels

The city distributes information through email newsletters covering 10+ topics (police reports, board agendas, summer camps, golf course news, parks events, public works updates, fitness, and career opportunities) via Constant Contact, and text message alerts through TextCaster from Administration, Police, Public Works, and Parks & Recreation.
