Parks and Recreation

Ballwin Parks & Recreation manages five city parks, The Pointe at Ballwin Commons, North Pointe Aquatic Center, Ballwin Golf Course & Event Center, tennis and pickleball courts, and year-round community programming. Director Chris Conway and the team serve residents of all ages with camps, swim lessons, fitness programs, race series, festivals, and facility rentals.

The Pointe at Ballwin Commons

The Pointe at Ballwin Commons is Ballwin's flagship indoor recreation facility, opened in 1996 and serving approximately 170,000 visitors annually. Located at 1 Ballwin Commons Circle.

North Pointe Aquatic Center

North Pointe Family Aquatic Center at 335 Holloway Road is Ballwin's premier outdoor aquatic facility, open seasonally from Memorial Day through Labor Day.

Parks and facilities

300 Park Drive. 2 ball diamonds, playground, 4 lighted tennis courts, stocked fishing pond, walking paths, 2 sand volleyball courts, 8 horseshoe courts, 2 pavilions (seat 80 each with BBQ grills), restrooms. Home of Ballwin Days and Public Works headquarters.

Ballwin Golf Course and Event Center

Ballwin Golf Course is a public 9-hole course at 333 Holloway Road, spanning 2,703 to 3,433 yards. Formerly Fox Creek Country Club, the course was acquired by the City in 1974.

Inclusive recreation

Ballwin Parks & Recreation is committed to providing inclusive programming for individuals of all abilities. Terri Johnson serves as the Inclusive Recreation Coordinator.

Summer camps

Ballwin Parks & Recreation offers full-day summer camps for children at The Pointe at Ballwin Commons. Day camps run weekly sessions throughout June and July and include supervised activities such as games, crafts, swimming, field trips, and outdoor adventures. Camps are staffed by trained recreation leaders.

Ballwin Race Series

The Ballwin Race Series features five running and triathlon events throughout the year, all supporting the Ballwin Parks & Recreation Scholarship Fund. Events draw participants from across the St. Louis region.

Pavilion and facility rentals

All park pavilion, ballfield, meeting room, and gym reservations must be made in person at The Pointe at Ballwin Commons, 1 Ballwin Commons Circle. Golf Course Event Center reservations are handled by phone through the Golf Course office.

Ballwin Bucks

Ballwin Bucks is a convenient key fob payment system for Ballwin Parks & Recreation facilities. Load any dollar amount onto your key fob and use it to pay for admission, programs, and services at The Pointe, North Pointe Aquatic Center, and the Golf Course.

Tennis and pickleball

Ballwin maintains tennis and pickleball courts across four parks. Vlasis Park has four lighted tennis courts. New Ballwin Park has two tennis courts and three pickleball courts. Holloway Park has one lighted tennis court and four pickleball courts. Courts are available on a first-come, first-served basis during park hours (dawn to dusk) unless reserved for league play or programs.
