Citizen's Police Academy
A multi-week program giving residents an inside look at police operations, including ride-alongs, use-of-force demonstrations, crime scene processing, and K-9 operations.
CERT Training
Community Emergency Response Team training prepares residents to assist during disasters and emergencies. Classes cover fire safety, light search and rescue, medical operations, and team organization.
National Night Out
Annual community-building event promoting police-community partnerships through neighborhood block parties and gatherings across the city.
Ride-Along Program
Residents can ride along with patrol officers to experience a shift firsthand. Contact the Police Department to schedule.
Bicycle Patrol
Officers patrol parks, trails, and neighborhoods by bicycle for enhanced community interaction and visibility.
